Logging into SteamInputDB currently does not provide any additional features

It currently only exists as a half-implemented feature!

We will only fetch publicly available information about your Steam-account (profile-id, display name, avatar).
We currently do not store any information about you or your Steam account and there is no separate SteamInputDB account created.

Eventually, we plan to add community features that will require storing your Steam profile-id and display name, but we will never store, any sensitive information about you or your Steam account.

How can I verify this is legitimate?
When you click the sign in button, you will be redirected to https://steamcommunity.com
(Please verify the URL before entering your credentials)
If you are already signed into Steam, you can simply click Sign In without entering your password.
SteamInputDB never receives your username or password.
