combined playtime Hi, this is Kent, the creator of The Novelist. This is a Steam Deck config that I put together; it uses the triggers for common actions and is quite comfortable. The trackpad is only needed for the main menu. Otherwise, the thumbsticks work well for movement and gameplay. Enjoy!

combined playtime This binding places the space keys and the right click on the back buttons on the controller. The D-Pad is still not being used though. (For some people this will be eaiser to use) Also the tracking for the touchpad is touched up a level.

combined playtime Modified to not use the D-Pad, the right trigger clicks and everything else should be set normal. Tested it and it works completely with the game and the tracking on the touchpad should be set completely fine for it as well.
