Trustworthy Config for Gate of Firmament Generic Controller 4 days combined playtime Right Grip changes between Field/Menu and Combat action sets. This config is based on Battleaxe's config, but heavily modified to provide greater consistancy in different parts of gameplay. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Battleaxe's Gate of Firmament Config Generic Controller 6 days combined playtime Preserved default controls and mapped to controller for a streamlined configuration that works for me. Using a base Keyboard and Mouse config, kept the shoulder buttons as scroll for the zoom in game. Used the back bumpers for the character change on the overworld map. Start mutton is used to escape. The select button is used to skip cutscenes, as well as change formations in combat. The joystick is mapped for movement, with joystick click for selecting targets during combat. The controller buttons are mapped to the game's main functions on the overworld and except for the X button (menu swap) is not used in combat. The A button is mapped to talk/investigate for the overworld. The B button will perform character interactions on the overworld. The Y button will open the map on the overworld, and use the Latern in combat. The X button is used to switch manu panels, as well as switch between physical/magic attacks in combat. The left pad is for character selection in combat, as well as formation selection. The right pad issues combat commands, also used for magic skills. Additionally, holding down or right on the pad will rotate the camera left/right. I found this layout to make combat the most fluid. For both pads, a soft pull of the trigger can be used to move the mouse, clicking the pads will correlate to that corresponding mouse button. This is also used in combat to switch targets in conjuction with the joystick click action. Finally, the left trigger when fully pulled will pause cutscenes/combat, and the right trigger fully pulled will use the guardian power of your current formation
