While a grip is held, the right trackpad acts as a duplicate of the left, for skill casting while moving. Menu button to undo the action layer if stuck. Soft left trigger press while a grip is held turns the left pad into a radial menu, which allows to select one of several automation layouts. Auto cast: meant for grinding buff spells. Set the spell to grind into the left pallet X button, clear the right X button from other actions while in use. If the mode swap becoems stuck after several activation rounds, select any steam binding for a change without changing anything to reset it.
