Due to issues ESA:R has with registering on-screen keyboard inputs, trackpads use a menu for QWERTY typing, with R4 & R5 being used for Enter & Delete for easier save game management. For menu navigation, R2 & Start buttons are for selecting & escaping from menus. If you have a preference, you can swap to a Radial Menu to use both alphabetical & numerical inputs.
